NANCY WOLFE

Nancy Wolfe was Executive Producer on “Fit to Print,” a feature documentary chronicling the demise of watchdog reporting in newspapers. She also photographed, edited, and recorded sound for the film, which received positive responses from HuffPost, POLITICO, and other publications, and is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. At Democracy Now!, Wolfe developed segments on the 2016 Presidential election and the “Fight for $15” campaign, as well as multiple pieces on nuclear waste management. Currently, she is Impact Producer on “Off Country," a feature-length documentary and multimedia project about nuclear testing in the U.S. She also works as an imaging specialist at Columbia University and served on the 2017 Committee for the Strategic Initiative on Time-Based Media. She is co-founder of Documentary Filmmakers Anonymous, a support group for NYC-based filmmakers. Wolfe also participated in the 2018 Reel Nonfiction Lab for ROCKY FLATS.
 
 

RABIA SULTANA

Rabia Sultana has produced music videos for Def Jam artists/Universal Music Group. She has also produced commercials for major corporations. Her first independent project as writer, producer, and director was the short film "Rosetta's Blues" which screened at the Cannes Court Metrage and L.A. Femme International Film Festival. Rabia's first feature film project was producing "Extra Innings." She was both producer and assistant director on the feature films "Angelfish" and "The Truth about Santa Claus." Rabia's current festival projects include “Interference” (NBC/Universal Film Festival, BAM Cinematek’s New Voices in Black Cinema) and “Friendly Neighborhood Coven,” a short film starring Tonye Patano and Sally Struthers.

Bill Loerch has been producing narrative shorts, web series and documentaries focused on creating change for the better for over fifteen years. He produced and directed a yearlong piece on the “Harlem 4 Obama” group and produced the award winning short “Blood Brothers” in 2016. Currently, he’s in post-production on a narrative short, “First Rites,” due for release in 2020. Loerch was also a co-producer of "Fit to Print" alongside Nancy Wolfe.

Valerie Veatch is a director, writer, editor and producer whose first two feature documentaries, "Me @ The Zoo" (2012) and “Love Child” (2014) premiered at Sundance and were released on HBO. Her work has been exhibited at the New Museum, the Hirschhorn, and MoMA. Veatch is the youngest director to debut two feature films at the Sundance Film Festival.

Hsuan-Yu Pan was an editor on the feature documentary "Netizens". She was director, director of photography, and editor on her own films, documentary shorts "Shinobu" (2018) and "My Mother's Table" (2019) and feature documentary "Hear, Eat, Home," currently in production. She served as producer, director of photography, and editor on many BRIC TV Segments for BRIC Arts Media.
 

ARI BESER

Ari Beser entered the world of digital storytelling through his personal connection to the nuclear age. His grandfather was the only U.S. serviceman aboard both bomb-carrying B-29s that bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima. In 2015, Beser traveled throughout Japan on a Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship where he used his camera to report on 2 events: the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the 5th anniversary of the nuclear meltdown in Fukushima. He was recently a Media Fellow at The Economist.
 

FUNG CHERN HWEI

Fung Chern Hwei, composer and violinist, has been an active participant in the New York City music scene for the past decade and a half and continues to explore new ground. For the past 11 years, he has performed and toured extensively with the Sirius Quartet. He is also a member of the metal/hardcore string quartet outfit, Seven)Suns. His various other projects and ensembles include: Camila Meza and the Nectar Orchestra, Linda May Han Oh’s Aventurine, Kristen Estelle and the Heartstrings, and Latin Grammy winner Pedro Giraudo’s tango ensembles. He has composed 3 film scores so far including the 2017 Malaysian arthouse/action feature, "Mrs K," directed by the internationally acclaimed auteur, Ho Yuhang and co-composed by his duo partner in their band FUGU, Ng Chor Guan.
